Shadows of the Mind

The game was created as part of a Research Project for my fourth year. It tries to explore the relationship between masculinity and the well-being of a noir detective.

The players follow the story of Filinar Marlowthian, an Elven Inquisitor from the town of Rivenforge. He stumbles across the murder of the town blacksmith, an old friend of his. The investigation leads Filinar into unknown territories, and he uncovers crucial details about his past that no one knew. 

It is a visual novel that works based on choice and how those choices affect Filinar's attributes. These attributes and their values affect later decisions that pave the path for the story. 

The current version is just a proof of concept to showcase the idea behind the project.
